The Chamber was first incorporated on 10th September 1999 under the name of Riverstone - Schofields & District Chamber of Commerce & Industry. On 1st July 2022, the Chamber became the North West Business Chamber under a new name and logo, reflecting the change of the region and to be inclusive of the new suburban subdivisions that make up the North West Growth Area.

The North West Business Chamber is a collective of local businesses, industry, trade, school groups, sporting groups and not-for-profit community organisations located in the North West of the Blacktown LGA and is at the heart of the rapidly growing North West Growth Area of Sydney NSW. Our membership continues to grow from strength to strength. The Chamber supports business, industry and trade through economic activity, representing the views of business, industry and trade in our region and providing advocacy for a number of projects that support employment, business and economic growth for the North West Growth Area and region.   

The North West Business Chamber is a member-based not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers and is independent of all levels of government. The Chamber operates under the guidance of our volunteer executive committee comprising of elected and appointed representatives from within our membership. 

The Chamber supports businesses, not-for-profit community organisations, school groups, sporting groups, home-based businesses and industry operating in the suburbs of Riverstone, Vineyard, Grantham Farm, Box Hill, Gables, Rouse Hill, Kellyville Ridge, The Ponds, Parklea, Glenwood, Acacia Gardens, Quakers Hill, Colebee, Nirimba Fields, Melonba, Marsden Park, Angus, Richards, Schofields and Tallawong.  

Membership in the Chamber brings many advantages for our member businesses and community organisations. It may include networking opportunities, member benefits and discounts, business support and advice, and the on-going advocacy to have your views represented at local, regional, state and national levels through the Chamber’s lobbying activities and representation.

The business chamber meets regularly including the first Friday of each month for our popular Sunriser Breakfast Networking Chamber Meeting and bi-monthly (every second month) for our Sundowner Chamber Meeting.
